Turtle Island + Sepilok + City Tour :

Duration: 2 Day / 1 Night

Day 01: Sandakan Airport / Selingan Turtle Island (L,D)
Meet your guide on arrival in Sandakan Airport and transfer to jetty to board the boat to Selingan Island or also named Turtle Island. The boat journey takes approximately 1 hour. Register at the reception and check into a chalet. Rest of the day free at own leisure. After dinner, wait for the Park Ranger to give the signal for turtle watching. Observe the turtle laying eggs process until the nest is covered with sand. The Rangers will tag the turtles for record purposes. Then the eggs will be transferred to the hatchery. If there are young turtles hatchlings, then you have the opportunity to observe the hatchlings being released to the sea. Overnight at Selingan Chalet.

Day 2: Selingan / Sepilok / City Tour / Airport (B,L)
Depart Selingan after breakfast. Proceed to Sepilok Orang Utan Rehabilitation Centre, the world's largest rehabilitation centre. Experience a close encounter with the 'Wildman of Borneo'. These Orang Utans were once orphans and the centre reformed their skills to survive in the wild again. A video on the centre and the Orang Utan rehabilitation program is shown at the visitor's reception centre. After lunch, continue with a city tour of Sandakan with a visit to a Malay fishing village and Chinese Buddhist Temple situated above a 300 meters high hill that oversees a panoramic view of Sandakan Bay. Transfer to hotel or airport.
