Mount Kinabalu Summit:

Duration: 3D/2N

Day 01: Kota Kinabalu / Kinabalu Park.  (Lunch, Dinner)
Meet at hotel around 0830am and depart for a 2,5 hours drive to Kinabalu Park HQ known for its diverse range of flora and fauna and the cloud en-case Summit of the Majestic Mount Kinabalu. The local Kadazandusun call it Aki Nabalu or “Revered Place of the Death”. It is believed that the Spirit of the tribes ’dead ancestors’ dwell among the forbidden peaks. Upon arrival, register at the Park HQ and we proceed for a short trekking where i will explain you about the interesting things from Mount Kinabalu. We also will visit the Botanical Garden with many Borneo Orchids. Lunch outside the park, and after lunch check in for your overnight accommodation (depends on availability, hostel with bunkbeds, Hill Lodge with Twin Beds, or Liwagu Suite with King Bed). Dinner in the Balsam restaurant and overnight.

Day 2: Kinabalu Park / Timpohon Gate / Laban Rata. (breakfast, packed lunch, dinner)
After breakfast, register for the climb and meet your mountain guide. This experienced climber is going to climb together with you. By bus to the Timpohon Gate and its from here that the ascent to Laban Rata Resthouse begins. Trek will pass by different zones of vegetation from Oak and Chestnut to mossy and eventually to alpine type of vegetation.

Day 03: Laban Rata / Summit / Laban Rata / Kinabalu Park / Kota Kinabalu (Breakfast, Lunch)
Early morning around 0230am, you start with the ascent to the summit of Mount Kinabalu (4095,2m above sea level). Upon reaching the summit (Low’s Peak) an opportunity to take photographs on the highest point in South East Asia. In a clear weather, a spectacular sunrise awaits weary climbers. Retrace route back to Laban Rata Resthouse and onwards descend to timpohon Gate and to Park HQ to collect certificate of achievements. After lunch, transfer back to Kota Kinabalu and check into hotel or airport for flight home.
