Klias River Cruise:

Duration: 8 hours

You depart from your hotel around 1400 hrs for a 2 hours drive to the south of Kota Kinabalu. When we arrive at the Klias jetty, a refreshment and local made cakes will be served. Then around 1630 hours we go aboard a small boat and cruise along the Klias river with mangroves on either side of the river in search of Proboscis monkeys, Silver Leaf monkeys, birds and monitor lizards. On the way back it is getting dark and then we see the hundreds of blinking fire flies lighting the mangrove trees as Christmas trees. Around 1900 hrs we arrive back at the jetty where we will be served a sumptuous local prepared buffet dinner. Around 2000 hrs we depart for our journey back to Kota Kinabalu wher we arrive around 2200 hrs.
